Family.
High school acquaintances turned forever partners — my wife and I reconnected in 2022, married in 2024, and became proud parents to 2 amazing boys, Myles and Carter. It’s been awesome!
What might people find surprising about you?
I spent four years playing Division I football at the University of Kansas as a proud Jayhawk.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
I have two! “If you’re early, you’re on time. If you’re on time, you’re late. And if you’re late, you’re forgotten.” In other words — don’t be late. And the second: Be like water. Be fluid, adaptable, and always evolving.
What do you like to do for fun or to recharge?
I enjoy staying active outdoors — whether it’s playing pickleball, football, or exploring walking trails.
How does serving as a Youth Pastor connect with your personal passions or sense of calling?
Helping people has always been a passion of mine, and serving in Youth Ministry is one of the most meaningful ways to live that out — pouring into the next generation who will continue to build the church.
What Scripture best captures the heart of who you are?
James 2:26 Faith without works is dead.
James isn’t saying we earn salvation by our works — rather, he’s showing that authentic faith naturally leads to action. If someone truly believes in God, that belief will shape how they treat people, make decisions, and follow God’s Word. In this day and age- anyone can put a scripture in their Instagram bio, say they love Jesus, or watch 30 second highlight reels of a sermon. I’m more impressed by those who live it day in and day out.

A group of students who believe that we are called to lead the way. We believe that every person, regardless of age or experience, has an opportunity and responsibility to impact our world for Jesus.  We also believe that this can be fun!  Come and visit us, see what we have to offer.  Find your place, explore your talents and change your world!
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers
in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.”
